Effective Date: Standard US retail return compliance policy for ChapmanCooks (champmancooks.shop)
1. Eligible Return Window
All eligible items can be requested for return/refund within 30 calendar days from customer delivery receipt date (based on carrier delivery scan record). Return package must be shipped back to our San Marcos warehouse within 7 business days after our support team approves return application and provides pre-paid/self-pay return shipping label. Requests submitted after the 30-day cutoff will be automatically denied unless product arrives factory defective/damaged during transit.
2. Return Eligibility Standards
- Qualified for free return: Damaged, defective, missing accessory or wrong-item shipped due to ChapmanCooks warehouse packing error (provide clear product defect photos via returns@champmancooks.shop for verification within 3 days after receiving goods). We cover full round-trip shipping cost for these error-originated returns.
- Voluntary customer change-of-mind return: Products must remain unused, intact with all original factory packaging, tags, manuals and accessories in resalable new condition. Any worn, stained, incomplete packaged merchandise will be rejected for full refund; partial store credit may be offered under special merchant discretion.
3. Non-Returnable Product Categories (US hygiene & retail legal exception)
- Final-sale discounted clearance goods clearly marked “All Sales Final” on product listing page;
- Personal hygiene sealed items once original factory seal is broken; customized/personalized engraved/printed products made per exclusive customer specification;
- Digital downloadable products, electronic gift cards sold via our online store.
4. Refund Execution Rules
- Approved full refunds will be issued back to original payment method within 5–7 business days after our warehouse receives, inspects and confirms returned item condition. Credit card fund arrival timing follows individual bank processing schedule (3–10 banking days).
- Original outbound shipping cost paid during checkout is non-refundable for voluntary customer-initiated returns; outbound freight is fully reimbursed for ChapmanCooks-caused wrong/damaged shipments.
- Optional store credit refund: Customers can choose ChapmanCooks store credit (valid 12 months on champmancooks.shop) instead of cash refund for eligible returns, processed instantly upon return inspection pass.
5. Return Shipping Cost Division
- Defective/erroneous order return: ChapmanCooks provides free pre-paid US domestic return shipping label at our expense.
- Customer voluntary return: Customer bears all return shipping & carrier fees; we can provide discounted USPS/UPS return label upon request, related cost deducted directly from final refund amount.
6. Return Initiation Process
- Submit return request via email returns@champmancooks.shop or call support +1 6129633630 with valid order number and purchase email address;
- Wait official approval notice within 1–3 business days, follow instructions to print return label and drop package at designated USPS/UPS pickup location;
- Track returned parcel via provided tracking number until warehouse receipt confirmation.
7. Rejected Return Handling
If returned item fails inspection and return application is denied, customer has two options within 14 days of rejection notification: pay $28 return delivery fee to have item shipped back to original customer address or authorize ChapmanCooks to discard the product legally.
